I started reading a new book last night, The Boy From Baby House 10. It is the miraculous story of a boy who somehow managed to survive a Russian orphanage, be adopted by an American family, and grow up to be a healthy normal young man. I read about the book on the blog When Rain Hurts.
Since Elliott is from Russia, I am always intrigued by other stories of Russian adoptions and experiences. I ordered the book from Amazon, and when it arrived, it sat on my night stand. And it sat. And it sat. Something about the book was bothering me enough I didn’t want to pick it up.
