A few nights ago, my husband and I took my mom to see Avatar in celebration of her seventieth birthday. She met us at our house and off we went leaving the kids with a sitter.
The next evening over dinner we were telling the kids how great the movie was, but that we couldn't take them to see it for another few years because it had a lot of war and battle scenes and other scary stuff we didn't think they were old enough to watch.
Our six-year-old stared at us with a puzzled look until she finally asked, "Then why did Grandma say it was about a fuzzy blue elf?"
