After The Detroit Free Press piece earlier this week, I recoiled at the headline. Fortunately, The Today Show had Isabel and Susan on live, and the discussion quickly turned from whether or not mommybloggers are catty to a positive discussion of criticizing the idea and not the person (which we heartily support in the BlogHer Community Guidelines) and Blog With Integrity.
I for one, am getting tired of the "mommybloggers suck" headlines. On the other hand, I'm happy to see bloggers featured in the mainstream media and getting the chance to bat back some of these gross generalizations about mommyblogging. What do you think? Is all this coverage of mommybloggers good for the community or bad?
