Do you wake up in the middle of the night with clarity on a problem that frustrated you during the day? Have you returned from vacation to find that your concerns that were important before you left just don't seem to be a big deal anymore? Has an experience you dreaded turned out to be enjoyable for you?

What gives?

Rest and relaxation change perspective.

An effective approach in changing perspective is to consciously leave the problem or concern alone. Let it go. Take a complete break from it.

Concentrate your energy and resources outside of yourself to limit your need for a solution that is not forthcoming.  A new perspective can come from within after you live outside the problem.
