I’m on tilt!
One of my buds often has a facebook status message that says “I’m on tilt!” - which for the longest time I credited to him as originating, until I saw it on a random east village bumper sticker.
The illusion gone, today while cleaning my new abode, I discovered I am *literally* on tilt!
My apartment is garden-level on the first floor of a brownstone, facing front - and I guess the design created a little bit of a forward angle! You don’t notice in most parts…but if you make the decision to perch upon the window seat and gaze out for a visitor you are awaiting - you realize you are on an angle - even when sober! It’s pretty trippy, but oddly cool.
Cleaning is going fabulously - and I definitely did enough to work up a sweat…except no sweating occurred! A day of carrying, and lifting, and scrubbing, and spraying - and I still smelled shower-fresh from top to pink-rimmed toe.
Did I mention I was wearing my Certain Dri?
Certain Dri has been a leading antiperspirant since before I was even born and is recommended by thousands of dermatologists. Their roll-on is formulated with 12 percent aluminum chloride - that’s the same active ingredient in prescription-strength antiperspirants, but in a gentler, non-alcohol formula, which is now available in a new solid application as well. Both Certain Dri Antiperspirant products are clinically tested and dermatologist-recommended as the most effective solution for occasional, excessive perspiration due to stress, heat, sports - or moving into your very first apartment!
For those concerned about the toes inside their strappy pink sandals, there’s also a new product out there that I’m thinking is a great idea - Certain Dri Feet Moisture Control Pads, which you can put on before bed, and will help control foot moisture. These are designed to be used with Certain Dri Feet Microsponge Powder as a daily supplemental product for added protection against moisture and odor.
Whether it’s exercise or a big move, we all want to avoid sweating (and smelling), and I want to pass on my good fortune. So, ten winners will win a set of Certain Dri Feet Microsponge Powder and Certain Dri Feet Moisture Control Pads for their feet, and 10 readers will also win a set of the underarm antiperspirant products (Certain Dri Anti-Perspirant Roll-On and Certain Dri AM Underarm Refresher).
To win, tell me some of the stuff that makes you work up a sweat…and some of the stickiest situations it’s put you in! Deadline June 15.

OMG A HOTLASH! I feel like I am smothering in my own body. As a rule I don’t sweat, but when I get a FLASH it could be 20 degrees outside and I want to rip off all my clothes, which can be a problem if I happen to be in a public place.

Great giveaway and just in time for summer!
I didn’t know Certain Dri had something for feet, very neat although my feet have never bothered me when it comes to sweating during the summer. Anyways, a lot of stuff makes me work up a sweat but exercising is definitely on the top! Whether it’s pilates, tae bo, running…all the stuff that we do to burn some calories off.
Next is the HOT weather during the summer, and I mean, HOT. I know summer has those nice, hot days, but when it’s like, scorching HOT…ack! It’s the kind of weather where you hope, hope, hope your antiperspirant is working…where you chug bottled ice water until you’re in an air conditioned place…where that slight cool breeze is so needed…I can just go on and on, haha. On those days, the situation that always happens to me is that I have to go to the washroom to splash super cold water on my face, hands and arms. I just have to cool off and not feel sticky! Also, I try to avoid shaking hands with people because my hands will get sweaty, but sometimes, you have to and well, that’s always awkward, haha.

How about standing over a hospital bed, watching a person receiving electric shocks to her head? Not even kidding. It’ll make your brow, palms, underarms, and feet work up a sweat…and may cause a bit of dizziness, too (as happened in my case).

I work up a sweat just by walking. I like to walk fast to where ever I have to go, in the summer time, I always am seating when I get to my destination. I always feel like I have sweat stains on my clothes. the other time I work up a sweat is at the gym, after a spin class you can tell I have been working hard by the color difference of where my clothes are wet from sweat and where my clothes are dry.

I find absolutely anything makes me sweat these days. I believe the technical term for my problem is sympathetic neuropathy and so unfortunately I can be doing absolutely nothing, sitting on the computer, minding my own business, and poof! I’m sweaty. It really ticks me off some times so I would love to be able to try Certain Dri. Thanks for the great giveaway!

Life makes me sweat, being happy, being sad, nervous, scared, being hot or even cold. Need 3 showers a day when it’s hot. Every 20 minutes would be great for me. Neeless to say I am doing laundry all the time.

Well, I’m a sophomore in college who’s working her butt off to get a good GPA so I can get into law school! That makes me sweat. Also, I already have excessive foot perspiration, so I get uncomfortable (especially with cute summer shoes that I can’t wear). I gave up trying to wear summer sandals after I was walking to class and my sandal flew off my foot and landed ridiculously far away. I had to hobble over as people enjoyed the spectacle! That made me even sweatier…oh boy.

I’m always sweating and it’s just bad on my clothes and shoes! Every time I come home and have to dab water on the “sweat spots” to try to make the stains go away. I notice I sweat a lot when I’m under a lot of pressure and definitely when I’m nervous around guys and meeting new people. Just the other day, there was a karaoke night and yeah…I noticed the arm stains and hope no one did either!

My hands and feet sweat throughout the year. It is very embarrassing to shake people’s hands. During the summer, I can only where certain flip flops. When I wear plastic ones too long, my feet will start squeaking due to my sweaty feet. Nerves and anxiety always increase the sweat. My pediatrician told me I would grow out of it; at 34, I am still waiting to grow out of it.
