Some of my friends tease me that I am en route to being the modern-day Carrie Bradshaw. I could only dream! Her shoes…her apartment…her teeny-tiny waist.
Carrie was a version of the timeless literary female heroine, trying to make her way in the big city…in Jimmy Choos, drinking cosmos, with a sexy boy by her side.
The article in today’s New York Times seemed very apropos - for me, and for all the other urban gal bloggers reading. A note, on all of us “wannabes”, on what our beloved SATC fave would be like, today, in 2008, in reality. Would she still seem as accessible, or realistic? It’s really fascinating!
