Pretty petticoats!

Check out my cute new outfit!

Straight from the Spring ‘08 line of Effie’s Heart, I am obsessed with my new petticoat skirt. The one I received is in fog gray with a scarletberry petticoat, and it adorably screams spring fling. (Not that I do. I tend to coyly whisper.) The skirt is double-layered with side pouch pockets and boasts a larger-than- circle cut and a contrast petticoat underskirt. It is perfectly complemented by the matching hat - also in scarletberry! A 1920s inspired cloche, it has contrast top stitching, a scallop back detail and an artisan style button flower accent. Totally cute!

Kimo, the creator of the Effie’s Heart line, is a woman after my own heart (no pun intended). Using color palettes inspired by antique catalogs, art history, nature, and vintage clothing, she has painted a fashion canvas that touches on vintage feel, but has a vision toward modern eclectic beauty. It’s deliciously unique, and many of her pieces are a must try for spring flirtiness.
