Gifts to welcome mom and dad to the 21st century
Are you looking for the perfect gift for mom and dad this season? I hate to break it to you, but no amount of perfume or barbecues will be the Holy Grail that keeps your parents from nit-picking about your relationships or jobs or choice of shoes. The ultimate gift this year is the gift of modern culture… a taste of civilization as we know it. Rescue your parents from their archaic traditions and teach them a thing or two about what is out there.
We present the gift guide for the aging (former or wannabe) hipster.

hahaha - oh lord - i can’t imagine getting one’s parental units tanked on tequiza and jenn cocktails and trotting them off to a hot netherparts waxing! though i will say when i was trying to explain threading to my mom she sounded intrigued…
to bring my mom into the modern age, i got her an ipod nano a couple months ago, and for xmas am giving her the belkin car thingie, and a cute matching nano case with an owl on it. since her whole plan for an ipod was to have bird calls on it while she’s out in the field.
i agree about the wii, but i don’t think she’s ready for it just yet. in the meantime, i know she likes sudoku on her nindendo ds!!
baby steps, mom. baaaaaby steps.
