Feel like making a movie?
I spend a lot of time collecting photos and videos of events important to me (especially since getting my favorite new gadget). I’ve had a hard time finding good ways to share the results though, and that takes a lot of the fun out of the process.
Until now. I have recently become a member of One True Media, an awesome new sharing site that lets you create and share stylish “home movies” with friends—sending your video montages direct from your computer to their living rooms for viewing on their TVs! The site helps you create and edit photo/video montages (complete with music and all sorts of optional special effects). Then and, in addition being able to e-mail them or turn them into DVDs, you can invite friends and family to check out your results with a TiVo Series 2 or Series 3 DVR to subscribe to his “Home Movies” Channel where the montages will appear in their “now playing” list! For the less technologically inclined, post your video creations on your blog or favorite social networking or video sharing site, including places like MySpace and YouTube.
Anyone can join One True Media for free, and have a basic membership that includes storage of 200 photos and 15 minutes of video. But, for a very affordable subscription fee (or if you win the contest below!), you can get a premium membership that allows unlimited storage and song montages, 5 monthly Tivo shares, download to your iPod or PC/Mac, and a free pro-quality DVD of one of the creations you make.
Best part? One True Media does all the work, and you get all the credit for being so creative and skillful! I’ve just played around with a few photo montages to try it out, check out the puppy montage below!
Even more exciting? We’re giving away TWENTY premium memberships to One True Media! Comment below, tell me why one should go to you. (And give me a suggestion for the next montage I should create!) Deadline for entries is Friday at 6 p.m.

That’s a fantastic service. I’d really find a good use for it. I run a Marlins website with tons of photographs. This would allow me to really do some great things with the collection of photographs I have. I have a number of ideas already and am sure I’d think of even more if I had access to the service. Great review!

Dearest Aly,
I feel I may actually NEED a One True Media subscription. As the SheKnows Crafts and Scrapbooking blogger, this could be an invaluable tool!
I am also a habitual photo-taker, so would love to organize my photos so everyone could actually see them and enjoy them!
Love,
The Other Allie.

I need one to put all the pictures and stuff of my cute new puppy.
I can’t wait to show her off.

I have about 1g of photos on my computer, and I’m out of blank CDs. That, coupled with all of the music and docs I have on my computer, is making it as slow as is was when I had dial-up.
That’s why I need a One True Media subscription.

This would be a great help in my video blogging projects, and to help sort through all the show footage our band is taking!

I’d really like to be able to share my videos over TiVo. Gotta share my vids with my non-computer savvy friends and family!

ooo - i do like taking pictures, but am admittedly terrible at sharing them. (i’m one of Those People whose images sit on the in-camera card for months…)
however, i’ll wager a one true media subscription would change that! just think of all the captured moments that would finally see the light of day! ohhh so glorious.

I need this to make cool video montages of Spiraling. Spiraling is the greatest! (especially since they listen to me when I yell at them to play “Borrowed Time” at every show)

I won the camera. I need space to upload movies now!

Well shoot, I already post pictures and caption slide shows on MySpace; I guess all I need now is music and backgrounds. Looks neat!

I’ve always wanted to put up a slideshow, but never liked what was offered (besides, I’m afraid of random websites and phishing!). A One True Media Subscription would be FANTASTIC!

I, Jim, would simply ADORE a onetruemedia subscription. I have a gazillion photos and my creativity knows no bounds! Band pics, friend pics, headshots, everything! It is so…ON.

i’m with laura on this one! i’m so jealous of everyone else’s slideshows on myspace but i don’t trust those random sites… it would be awesome to make my own, finally!

I need a membership because I just joned the bazillions of people with an iPod (for the first time — can you believe it??) and I am LOVING it. I want to make some cool videos and share them. I love the stuff you did with yours!!!

I could definitely use a subscription like this to make better use of my time when there is only one TV and the majority want to watch John from Cincinnati.
